Cigna Medical Group Clinician
Cigna Medical Group provides medical care services usually in a single location. For example, you can come to one location and visit your doctor, have a prescription filled, have blood work done and even X-rays. With everyone’s busy schedules, Cigna Medical Group provides convenient and quality care to its patients.
Cigna Medical Group offers a wide range of quality services in many of our centers. Our 22 health care centers provide X-ray and lab, as well as a pharmacy and specialty services and in most cases, all under the same roof.
Along with family practitioners and internal medicine physicians, Cigna Medical Group clinicians provide a broad scope of medical care in more than 20 medical specialty areas. We also employ over 70 nurses. CMG has more than 90 primary care physicians and more than 80 specialists that serve our more than 200,000 patients.
Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with plan participant, family, physician(s), and other providers to assess the options for care and use of benefits and community resources especially for high risk, high cost, or chronic cases.
The Registered Nurse (RN) Health Advisor is responsible for providing wellness coaching medical decision support, information on potential gaps in care to members through telephonic assessment, education, support, and referrals various health and wellness programs. The RN will use techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavior change, and shared decision making to help people achieve optimal health and well-being.
* The majority of our roles include case management, both telephonic and field case management). We offer comprehensive training, require a minimum of 3 years of experience and do not require case management experience.
