The Cigna Sales Academy program is designed for recent college graduates and early-career professionals looking to begin a career as a top-performing sales professional in the employee benefits industry.
You will learn to manage opportunities and relationships by working collaboratively with your manager, producers, customers, and other channels of distribution to achieve your goals in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
The Cigna Sales Academy program integrates a variety of learning methodologies including, classroom training, role-play, self-study, manager coaching and feedback, and job shadowing. Throughout, you’ll sharpen your skills and knowledge in the following areas:

Your in-depth knowledge of the industry and Cigna's product offerings, coupled with your ability to build relationships with potential clients, will position you for a professionally satisfying and financially rewarding career.
Cigna's Sales organization has clearly defined career path guidelines. Based on your performance, you can take on additional responsibility and advance your career. If people management is something to which you aspire, your career path at Cigna could take you up through the Sales ranks to a management role. Other career paths include moving across business units to sell new product lines, or moving into a new functional area such as Underwriting, Marketing or Training.
